Google has added 13 languages in order to Gmail’s interface to right now cover
94 percent from the world’s Internet population, the organization said
Monday.
Previously obtainable in 58 languages, the total is currently 71,
with the addition of Afrikaans, Armenian, Azerbaijani (Azeri), Chinese (Hong
Kong), French (Canada), Galician, Georgian, Khmer, Lao, Mongolian, Nepali,
Sinhala and Zulu, Google said.
The additional dialect support will roll
away Monday in
Gmail on the internet and feature-phone browsers, Google said.
Users can attempt them out by modifying their settings.
Changing
Gmail’s
display language does not affect the language in which people deliver and
receive their communications.
Google worked with linguists to create each
language accurate.
