Mid-range metal mobile?
Pictures of an unnamed Nokia device have popped up on the internet, promoting
reports that it may be the rumoured mid-range "Superman" or even "Tesla" handset
that's been for this firm.
Obviously Tesla as well as Superman are just
development nicknames (we're also hearing about the low-end "Rock" and luxurious
"McLaren" linked to the Finnish firm), with a final retail title of possibly the
Nokia Lumia 830 or Lumia 730 being bandied about.
The actual photos were
spotted through WPDang on Chinese social networking Weibo, and it's not possible
in order to verify the authenticity from the shots so we could just be taking a
look at a mock up gadget.
Materials world
Take a look at the images and also the handset in
question appears to sports activity a metal frame and looks like a
plastic/polycarbonate back - the same composition associated with materials that
you'll find within the Nokia Lumia 930.
Within the rear there's a large dark
circle housing the digital camera lens and flash, similar to the unit on the
back of the actual Lumia 1020, but in contrast to the 41MP-toting smartphone
this particular setup sits flush using the device, suggesting it may not group
the same high-res technology.
Htc hasn't given us any kind of hints of its
forthcoming products, so we're going to need to sit tight and wait around and
see what it has available later in the year.
